Static HTML/CSS is a much more rigid form of coding than utilizing WordPress. In my opinion, it’s more difficult to make sure you are doing what you are supposed to in static coding, as it’s much more time-consuming to remember each line of code and how they work. Though, HTML/CSS have a much higher security and performance than WordPress does.
In the end, I think that I like WordPress a lot more because of its easy way to make both a functional and visually appealing site. It’s a lot less technical, so it doesn’t require much coding knowledge, but since I have been struggling with the coding aspect of things, I relish in the way I’m able to finally get my ideas across without hitting a roadblock of not knowing how to code something.
Overall, I’m definitely a WordPress fan now!
