So Tyler, also known as Tyler Catastrophe online, is more of a somewhat newer phenomenon. He’s in a bit of hot water for some of the things that he has done and has said online.

As a bit of backstory, there was a content creator named Shubble who was dating another content creator named Wilbur Soot. At first, it was a harmless relationship, her being a lifestyle creator and him being a gaming channel creator with a band he sang for on the side. Then, she came out and said that he had been physically abusive to her in the relationship, and people had their doubts initially, understanding that anything posted online needs to be taken with a grain of salt. However, Wilbur came online and apologized for the whole scenario, so people realized it was true and then canceled him for it.

Back to Tyler, though. He first became a viral clip when he posted a video talking about how he was so in love with a certain British content creator and that all the bad PR put out there was a blatant lie (even though there was proof, and Wilbur owned up to it). So people started to criticize Tyler for saying something like that, and then it snowballed into him becoming an internet meme because of him doubling down and even posting more interesting videos.

For example, on top of saying he was in love with Wilbur ever since they met (he only met him for a second at a meet and greet at a con), he said that he deserved to be in Wilbur’s band, Lovejoy. Why? Well, he ‘used to be a professional singer,’ and I use quotations because it was never proven, and if you do any digging into this topic, you will find Tyler to be the most unreliable narrator of his own life. Anyway, he was a professional singer until he got hit by a car on his motorcycle and then had to retrain his voice to sing. What’s funny about that, though, is the car just tapped him, so no major damage was done, and Tyler didn’t have a motorcycle; he had a Vespa.

I could go on and on about this guy, but that is the major incidents that have happened about him online and it never fails to make me laugh every time he comes up on my feed with a new update about his Vespa accident, his jewelry business (which he charges hundreds of dollars for necklaces that are very cheaply made), or how he’s crowdfunding to move to Europe so he can hypothetically date Wilbur. Yeah, you heard that right.
