Though there are a lot of benefits to using WordPress, every program has its downfalls. There are three main ones that are widely known for WordPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First of all, your site will need to be maintained rather frequently. Leaving your site alone will lead it to not function to the capacity it needs to, and could lead to your site crashing or not working completely. Constant moderation of your site is required to avoid this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Second, it is unfortunately susceptible to hacking. A lot of WordPress sites are vulnerable to hackers, especially when one tries to further customize their site with third-party plug-ins and such. Just be careful with what you’re downloading to your computer and site!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lastly, it can be slow at times. If you choose an image that has too much data, include too much information on a page, etc., it can have less than ideal speed for your users. This can be a major turn-off for your site, so it’s best to keep it simple and double-check that your images are properly optimized before placing them on your site!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
